Global Environment Centre (GEC) in partnership with Department of Drainage and Irrigation Penang, GAB Foundation and Ministry of Education Malaysia will be organising a 2-day RIVER Ranger Training on July 20th and 21st. The training comprises of theory and practical sessions that will be held at the DID Penang Seminar Room, KOMTAR and Taman Botani - Taman Belia - DID Penang Information Centre. In addition to the training, there will be a water conservation storytelling session called GABBY by GAB Foundation. Thirty students and teachers from ten schools will be participating in this training.
The ten schools are SK Pengkalan Jaya, Tasek Gelugor; SMK (L) Methodist; SJK (C) Tong San; SMK (L) Al Mashoor, Air Itam; SJK (T) Sungai Pinang; SMK (P) Sir Mutiara; SMK Tunku Abdul Rahman ; SK Balik Pulau; SRJK (C) Jin Sin; SMK Valdor.
