RIVER Ranger Programmes

Being a RIVER Ranger requires the skills of monitoring the river in its physical, chemical and biological aspects. They may sound scientific and difficult to learn, but once you get a grip of the basics you will slowly grow into an amateur river scientist!

The RIVER Ranger Programme is implemented across various programmes from the River Care Programme, incuding Sungai Penchala and Sungai Kinta River Education Programme under the W.A.T.E.R (Working Actively Through Rehabilitation and Edcuation) Project, National River Care Fund (NRCF) and DRH2O, a Water Conservation Programme for Schools in Malaysia.
