River Health Index and Community-based IRBM for River Health Care
To strengthen river basin management and stewardship in the Sungai Kinta Catchment by promoting the use of the River Health Index (RHI), supporting community action and sustaining the CbKRB-IRBM model.

1. Strengthened Coordination & Governance

Minimum 3 technical meetings with agencies and 2 PWG meetings completed.

Stakeholder engagement and consultation records documented.
2. Enhanced River Health Index (RHI)

Enhanced and standardized RHI document for Sungai Kinta Catchment.

3 workshops/exhibitions/trainings and 1 online webinar promoting RHI carried out successfully.

At least 1 targeted centralized training session for key stakeholders, particularly government agencies and community conducted.

RHI was applied at least twice to monitor river health in Kinta River Catchment.
3. Community Empowerment & NbS Implementation

2 centralized capacity-building trainings and 2 guided field visits conducted.

At least 20 community-led (existing & new) CbKRB-IRBM initiatives supported.

Minimum 500 native trees, pollinator plants, and shrubs planted using bioengineering approaches.
4. Visibility & Knowledge Sharing

At least 2 success stories of communities/stakeholders been published.
