On 2 February 2025, a total of 26 participants joined the KDT Bird Survey, which was held from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Throughout the program, 35 bird species were successfully recorded, including several notable ones such as the Pink-necked Green Pigeon, Square-tailed Drongo, and Mugimaki Flycatcher.
The program aimed to promote the newly built birdwatching tower at Kayuh D’Tonggang as a destination for bird observation and monitoring activities. Additionally, it served to collect baseline data on bird diversity in the area and to build a photo collection of birds, which will be showcased at the community gallery as a reference and educational resource.
