GEC, in collaboration with the OSK Foundation, and with support of Ministry of Housing and Local Government (KPKT), Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ), PJ Zon 4 Councillor, Department of Irrigation and Drainage Petaling (DID Petaling) and KRT PPR Lembah Subang 1 successfully organised a community Clean Up initiative at PPR Lembah Subang 1 ( Blok G and H) on 27 September 2025 in conjunction with  2025 Hari Cuci Malaysia as well as World Rivers Day. Tuan Hj. Mohamad Zahri Bin Hj. Samingon, Petaling Jaya City Mayor did the closing. The event saw the participation of 300 people including local communities, OSKers, reps from agencies, alongside volunteers, working together to clean up and beautify the residential surroundings. Participants engaged in a range of activities including rubbish and drain cleaning, park and car park clean-up, railing and mural painting and a waste audit exercise, all aimed at promoting a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable living environment together with awareness/education activities for kids and youth like drawing and colouring competition. A total of 346.52 kg of solid waste collected, 10 categories of waste audited in line with National (KPKT) guide. Others (including bulky waste) topped the category with 52.1%, followed by plastics with 28.6%. 120 meters of railings along monsoon drain also have been painted.  This activity also part of Malaysian Book Records set by KPKT as Largest Gotong Royong event , participated by 100, 817 participants nationwide.
