UPPER KLANG BASIN
Project Description:
The project focus on the Klang River and its tributaries as they enter the urban area, where some biodiversity values remain. It aims to integrate riverine biodiversity management into the planning and implementation of the any river management projects especially River of Life Public Outreach Programme (ROLPOP) sites including:
- Physical enhancement of riverine habitats
- Adoption of key river stretches by local communities
- Introduction of measures to help control alien invasive aquatic species
