Goal:
To contribute to the conservation and sustainable use of globally significant biodiversity in Malaysia.
Objectives:
To mainstream biodiversity conservation into riverine landscapes through improved river planning and management practices in Malaysia. The specific objectives of the project are;
- To enhance institutional and technical capacity for riverine biodiversity conservation among key stakeholders.
- To establish pilot and demonstration sites to promote integration of riverine biodiversity conservation into river management.
